Overview

An effective quality management system could bring about positive business impact like process efficiency, customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance. Adopting the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2015, which specifies requirements for a quality management system, can help an organization establish its ability to continually provide goods and services which meet customer and regulatory requirements, and increase customer satisfaction through process improvement. All the ISO 9001:2015 requirements are universal and should be applicable to all kinds of organizations, no matter what products or services it provides. This course will, among other things, boost participants’ internal audit capabilities and increase their confidence in planning and performing an effective audit, as well as reporting and taking corrective action where necessary.
 
Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this course, participants should be able to:

  1. Assess and report on the conformance and implementation of processes based on ISO 9001:2015.
  2. Initiate an audit, prepare, and conduct audit activities, compile and distribute audit reports and complete follow-up activities.
  3. Master the skills to assess and improve the effectiveness of a quality management system.

  1. The concept of quality audit.
  2. Deciding how frequently quality audits should be conducted.
  3. How to establish and manage a quality audit program.
  4. Audit planning: audit preparation, opening meeting, conduct audit, and closing meeting.
  5. How to prepare an audit report and issue Corrective Action Request (CAR).
  6. Guide to be audited.
  7. How to conduct an internal quality audit and still have friends.
  8. Workshop: Practical audit.

 
Training Approach: Lecture and workshop.
Target Participant: All staff to be assigned with the responsibility for internal audit as well as those who are involved in the design, implementation and monitoring of the quality system should attend.
Course Duration: One day.
Course Size (max): 15 participants per class.
